“To believe your own thought, to believe that what is true for you in your private heart is true for all men – that is genius.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson

Which publishers would be interested in my book?

I get that question a lot. The answer is: I don’t know. Not for sure. Publishers publish books all the time and at the same time their interests may shift a bit. If a publishing house has published a book containing a certain plot, it will seldom want to publish another book with the exact same plot – unless the writer presents a new and interesting angle. Depending on the practice of your country’s publishers, sometimes it’s a good idea to call the publisher and tell about the book to learn if this publishing house is interested. My best advice, however, is to first and always take a look at the their websites to see which kinds of books they are interested in.
